StreamHub is the control panel Comcities built for radio and TV streaming. One login runs your radio channels, live TV, video on demand, the player your audience uses, your ads and your audience reports.
Which plans include StreamHub?
Both radio station hosting plans (FM Broadcaster, $100/mo, and Enterprise Broadcaster, $650/mo) and TV station hosting, which is quoted from 20 TB a month. For anything else, ask our sales team.
Can I run radio and TV in one account?
Yes. Radio channels sit beside TV channels in the same StreamHub login, so a broadcaster with both runs them from one place.
How do I go live?
Radio: point an encoder, such as BUTT on a studio PC or a hardware encoder, at your Shoutcast or Icecast server, and AutoDJ steps aside while you are on air. TV: send your channel over RTMP from OBS, Wirecast or your playout system.
How is my content protected?
GEO Secure plays your channel only in the countries you choose, and Domain Lock lets only your own websites embed the player. Both are set in StreamHub.
Can my station earn from ads?
Yes. StreamHub plays your own video ads as pre-rolls before live: you set the skip button, how often one viewer sees them and when a campaign runs, then see how many played, were watched to the end, skipped or clicked.
StreamHub, MediaCP or Centova Cast?
MediaCP and Centova Cast run our Shoutcast and Icecast plans from $6/mo, for single stations on shared servers. StreamHub is for established radio stations and TV channels, on a server of their own or the Akamai CDN.
